US Supports Electricity Rehabilitation in Khachmaz, northeast Azerbaijan

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is pleased to announce the opening ceremony for an electrical system rehabilitation project in Ashagy Zeyid, Khachmaz.

This event will take place in Ashagy Zeyid village of Khachmaz on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. All media representatives are invited to the event.

This project improves access to electricity and enhances the living conditions for hundreds of residents. This project was identified as a priority by the Community Development Council of Ashagy Zeyid and was made possible through the support of the American people through USAIDís Community Development Activity, implemented by CHF International and UMID HSSC.
