Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC (AzerCredit) helps develop the economy of Azerbaijan
by providing credit to small entrepreneurs so that they can grow their businesses
and improve their economic situation. AzerCredit is one of the largest micro-credit
organizations in Azerbaijan. As an employer, the company is investing in its
human resources through contemporary trainings and providing excellent working
atmosphere and building staff capacity in order to plant the seeds of more successful
future. Moreover, staff members usually become the main taskforce, which brings
innovation, as frequent focus groups with staff are conducted to brainstorm
and gather their thoughts and ideas. AzerCredit is currently seeking a Cashier
for its BALA BAHMANLI SUBBRANCH .
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
" Understanding and supporting AzerCredit philosophy and objectives;
" Doing all within his/her ability to meet targets set by supervisor and
work unceasingly to enable AzerCredit to meet its goal;
" Conducting all activities in compliance with AzerCredit policies and
procedures;
" Monitors and controls all the post dated checks, land titles, and other
important documents;
" Performs cash operations (withdrawals and deposits), disbursements, payments;
" Performs regular check of the actual cash balance on hand and reconciles
it with the balance according to the cash module of the MIS system and immediately
reports discrepancies to the BM;
" Maintains minimum / maximum cash in accordance with the prevailing management
regulations;
" Ensures that fake bank notes are neither received nor disbursed to the
clients;
" Prepares and prints necessary end of day reports;
" Counts and packs the money;
Successful candidates should meet the following criteria; qualifications,
knowledge and technical skills:
" University degree in economics, accounting or business administration;
" Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability
to motivate and manage a team;
" Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed
sense of rectitude;
" Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization
Ideals and Core Values;
" Good knowledge in economic and financial topics;
" Good analytical and problem solving skills;
" At least one year relevant work experience;
" Computer skills in Word, Excel and Data Base programs;
" Fluent in Azeri (both verbal and written). Preference may be given to
English speaking candidates;
" Excellent interpersonal skills;
" Able to work as team member and to establish friendly relationships;
